The Hudson River seperates
Greene and Columbia Counties but the Rip Van Winkle Bridge connects us. The Catskill Fire Department runs out of one
station located in the Western end of the village.
CFD primarily shares Mutual Aid with
the Hudson Department of Fire, for aerial device and fast team operations, and with Greenport Fire, as we both provide
coverage for the RVW Bridge.
